Overview
A ZIP archive stores each file twice — once as a local file header next to its data, and once in a central directory index near the end of the file that most tools read first. A damaged download or interrupted write often destroys just that central directory. AS ZIP Repair scans the archive for surviving local file headers and rebuilds the central directory from scratch.
