Data, database and ransomware recovery for Canadian organizations
AS helps Canadian organizations recover from failed databases, ransomware, RAID and NAS failures and damaged virtual machines. Most cases start with a remote assessment, and media needing physical work can be shipped to our lab in Dharmapuri, India.
How a job works from Canada
Remote first
Many problems can be assessed and often worked on remotely: databases that will not start, ransomware-encrypted servers, virtual machines, and RAID or NAS configurations. Remote services are provided internationally.
Media shipped to our lab
Drives and other media that are not detected, or that need physical work, are sent to our lab in Dharmapuri, Tamil Nadu, India. We explain the packing and shipping steps before you send anything.
On-site where feasible
On-site assistance is available where feasible. Whether it is practical depends on your location and the case, and we say so plainly.
Recovery outcomes depend on the condition of the data and are never guaranteed. We tell you what looks realistic after an initial assessment.
Working hours and time zones
Standard hours: Mon–Fri, 9:00–18:00 IST

In Eastern Canada that is about 11:30 pm to 8:30 am during daylight saving time (10:30 pm to 7:30 am in winter), and in the Pacific zone about 8:30 pm to 5:30 am (7:30 pm to 4:30 am in winter). Our Monday begins on Sunday night in Canada, and a call before about 8:30 am Eastern falls inside our working day. Emergency requests are answered 24/7: use the emergency request form and tell us your time zone.
Privacy and compliance in Canada
In Canada, PIPEDA applies to many private-sector organizations, and provinces such as Quebec, Alberta and British Columbia have their own privacy laws. Which rules apply depends on your organization and province. This is general information, not legal advice. Tell us about any requirements when you inquire, before data or media is sent.
