Most cases never need anything shipped: copies of the encrypted databases, virtual disks or backup files are uploaded over an encrypted channel, or we work in a remote session on a machine you control. When drives or servers do need lab work, they are sent by international courier from Dubai to our lab in Dharmapuri, India. We send the address, the paperwork wording for customs and packing instructions before anything leaves you, and the condition of the media is recorded on arrival. Our standard hours, Monday to Friday 9:00–18:00 IST, are about 07:30 to 16:30 local time (UTC+4). Emergency requests are answered 24/7 through the emergency form.
Why encrypted does not always mean lost

Can someone come to our office in Dubai?
We have no office in Dubai. Ransomware recovery rarely needs a visit: the assessment and most of the recovery are done remotely on copies of the encrypted files.
Our accounting database (SQL Server) was encrypted. Is the data gone?
Usually not all of it. SQL Server data files are often encrypted only at the start or at intervals. We extract the tables from the unencrypted pages and report which tables are complete and which are not.
We are in a free zone. Does that change anything?
Not for the technical work. Data protection rules can differ between the mainland and free zones such as DIFC, so tell us about any requirements before files are sent. We cannot give legal advice.
