Not before the disks have been copied. A rebuild writes to every disk in the array, and on a weak or wrongly ordered set it can destroy the data it is meant to save. Power it down and send us all the disks, labelled with their slots.

Yes. We recover the volume first and then check the ERP database and the drawing folders separately, so you know which files open and which are damaged.
