Virtualization Support
Virtualisation concentrates risk: one host or datastore problem affects many workloads. AS supports vSphere, Hyper-V and Proxmox environments with recovery in mind.
When you need this
- Host or datastore performance issues
- Snapshot or checkpoint sprawl
- Backup integration problems
- Migration between hypervisors
- Recovery after host or storage failure
What we do
Host and cluster configuration
Storage, networking and resource settings aligned to workload needs.
Snapshot and backup hygiene
Policies that keep VMs recoverable and storage healthy.
Migration
Planned moves between platforms with tested rollback.
Recovery
Datastore, virtual disk and VM recovery when things fail.
How it works
- Step 1
Discover
We document the environment, current issues and what the business needs from IT.
- Step 2
Stabilise
Urgent problems and obvious risks are addressed first so support starts from a known state.
- Step 3
Support
Ongoing assistance through agreed channels, with clear response expectations.
- Step 4
Monitor and maintain
Patching, monitoring, backups and routine maintenance keep small problems from becoming outages.
- Step 5
Review and improve
Regular reviews of incidents, capacity and risks, with practical recommendations.
What affects the outcome
Outcomes are never guaranteed. Every case is assessed on its own condition, and we tell you what is realistic before you commit.
- Age and condition of hardware, operating systems and applications
- Quality of existing documentation, credentials and change history
- Vendor support status of the products involved
- Availability of maintenance windows and test environments
- Network connectivity for remote support
Frequently asked questions
Are long-lived snapshots a problem?
Yes. They grow, slow VMs and can corrupt on merge. They should be short-lived; backups are for retention.
